VANESSA REYES
“I am currently a 2nd-year graduate student in the Gerokinesiology concentration. I graduated from Cal State Fullerton in 2016 with my B.S in Kinesiology and took some time off from school to pursue other interests. I returned to school in 2019 to earn my graduate degree and became a Certified FallProof Balance and Mobility Instructor in October of 2020. My area of interest is physical activity levels of older caregivers. I enjoy hiking and hope to pursue a career working with older adults of all functional ability levels after I graduate."
KRISTIN POWERS
" Kristin is a second year graduate student with an emphasis in Gerokinesiology. She began her time with the CSA in Fall 2018 as an undergraduate student intern and instantly discovered a passion for working with older adults. Since completing her FallProof! Balance and Mobility Specialist Certification, Kristin has been the lead instructor of the Building Better Balance class. Her favorite part about the CSA is being a part of the amazing and supportive community of clients, students, staff and faculty."
